Responsible for the day to day operations of homeless services for the organization. This
includes, but is not limited to budget development, staff coordination, federal, state, and local
compliance review and audits, grant writing, program development, and community and public
affairs work.
Accomplishments:
• Created and Implement the first multi-agency access program (MAP Point) that
coordinated the delivery of homeless services in our community.
• Generated over $1.5 million in new funding streams to expand and maintain homeless
services.
• Developed and Implemented Food Truck Program to serve both rural and urban
communities.
• Restructured Naomi’s House to a full-service 24-hour triage center.

Researcher and Grant Writer
Researched education and vocational training opportunities for the San Joaquin Valley for the
development of grants for funding vocational training programs in healthcare, manufacturing,
and distribution and logistics.

• Successful submitted at $5 million grant for the expansion of vocational training
program in the San Joaquin Valley with an emphasis in nursing.
• Created a centralized database on all vocational training programs in the San Joaquin
Valley and job availability in each training program.

Housing and Community Development
HOME Program Coordinator
Responsible for the administration of the rental rehabilitation program and other HOME related
programs, which included the coordination and development of the affordable housing plan for
ten years, and the various housing policies for the City of Fresno.
Accomplishments
• Crafted and implemented Universal Design Policy for all new home construction in the
City of Fresno
• Crafted the Housing Trust Fund Ordinance
• Crafted in partnership with the 10 X 10 Blue Ribbon Committee, the City of Fresno’s
